Join your living room with ours for our online beginners acting classes. This is an interactive course that will help you build confidence, creativity and community working with our expert teachers.
This course runs over 4 weekly sessions and culminates in a live stream performance to family and friends over our Darlo Drama ZOOM platform in the final class.
Through participation in this course you will learn to build story and character, and to explore the techniques to free your confidence and imagination in a supportive and collaborative environment.
You will learn practical acting, voice and movement techniques in the creation of a character as well as explore a sense of community and engagement with others in our “virtual acting world”.
Share your discoveries at the conclusion of this course in an online performance to family and friends.
Creativity, Presenting, Voice & Movement, Improvisation, Imagination in Performance, Developing Performance Confidence & Script Work.
At the conclusion of the course you and your classmates will perform monologues with music to an audience of family, friends & fellow students on the Darlo Drama virtual stage!
Level One and Two online require attendance at one class per week for two hours at the same time each week.
Level Two – The Scene (Online) (5 sessions including performance)
Level One – The Monologue (In person) (9 sessions including performance)
Once you have completed Level One Online the subsequent Level's can be completed at any time. There is no obligation to complete all Levels but we do recommend not leaving too long in between to keep your momentum of learning going.
There is no experience necessary to join Level One Online.
All students must be over 18 years of age at the start of the course.
