This interactive acting course will help you build confidence, creativity and community working with our expert teachers.
This course runs over 4 weekly sessions and culminates in a live stream performance to family and friends over our Darlo Drama ZOOM platform.
Through participation in this course you will learn to build story and character with a partner and to explore the techniques to free your confidence and imagination in a supportive and collaborative environment.
You will learn practical acting, voice and movement techniques in the creation of a character as well as explore a sense of community and engagement with others in our “virtual acting world”.
Share your discoveries at the conclusion of this course in an online performance to family and friends.
Creativity, Presenting, Voice & Movement, Improvisation, Imagination in Performance, Developing Performance Confidence & Script Work.
At the conclusion of the course you and your classmates will perform scene work with music to an audience of family, friends & fellow students on the Darlo Drama virtual stage!
Level One, Two and Three ONLINE require attendance at one class per week for two hours at the same time each week.
Level One – The Monologue (ONLINE) (4 weeks including performance)
Level Two – The Scene (ONLINE) (5 weeks including performance)
Once you have completed Level One Online the subsequent Level's can be completed at any time. There is no obligation to complete all Levels but we do recommend not leaving too long in between to keep your momentum of learning going.
You must have completed Level One online to participate in this course.
All students must be over 18 years of age at the start of the course.
